Sinakho Staffshop wins Recruitment Agency of the Year 2019
CareerJunction is South Africa’s leading job portal. 16 years ago, they launched CareerJunction Awards as an annual event. Inviting job seekers from all over SA, they were asked to select a recruitment agency which they felt excelled, rating them as excellent, very good or good, based on specific criteria.
The voting variables include Personal Service, Understanding Career Requirements, Negotiations, Placement & Post Placement as well as Advice & Guidance.
However, the voting doesn’t stop with the best recruitment agency, but a further option allows voters to nominate a South Africa’s top recruitment consultant for the award of National Recruitment Consultant of the Year. Sinakho director, Martinette van Wymeersch won this award in in 2013 and Janine Azevedo bagged this award 4 times, with consecutive wins in the last 3 years, including 2019.
During the 2019 CareerJunction Awards, job seekers could vote for their favourite from 480 national recruitment agencies. The 3 categories were determined by the number of advertisements placed on the CareerJunction website during the last 12 months.
Each category has a Winner, 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up, determined entirely by how many votes the Recruitment Agency received from job seekers.
The Recruitment Consultant, from any Recruitment Agency, who received the most votes during the voting process, is awarded Recruitment Consultant of the Year.
